Group Article(The Hashtag Is Mightier Than The Sword)
Our article was really based on woman, and how we can spread a word through the internet. It mentioned in the article that back then in order for a women voice to be heard she would have to write a letter to congress. Now its simply a blog post, a Facebook status, or even just a tweet on twitter. It also mentioned how this(#) was just a numeric symbol. But nowadays people use it as a way of grabbing someones attention, or being specific about a certain thing. The internet, and social sites really do have power. In the article it included that the Susan G. Komen foundation had raised 40,000 dollars in only 24 because how quick it had spread across the internet. This article made me realize what an impact the internet and social media have on the world today.

Sgt. Kevin Albanese and Trooper David Aresco Response
Most of the things that were said bye these gentlemen were quite shocking. It amazes me how some people use the internet to manipulate other people. One thing that really grabbed my attention was the story about the four month old. How could someone be so harsh. They must really had nothing to live for. I have a 7 month old son, but imagine if i had a daughter. That really disgusts me. They need to not only be incarcerated for a long period of time, but the death penalty should be put to work.
I really didn't realize that when you submit something on the internet that it is theirs forever. I have a Myspace account from a while back, a Facebook, twitter, and now an instagram which means my information is just out there. None have actually sat and read terms and agreements, at least i haven't. I'm glad that they came and shared their knowledge with us.
